I recently visited the Albatross breeding colony on the Otago Peninsula. Something I'd wanted to do for a while.
I was captivated. Captivated with how gracefully they flew, how incredibly long they stay in the air, the amazing distances they covered and then I laughed as they tried to land and wibble wobbled so ungracefully. None of us are perfect. I ordered this necklace as a reminder of a very special day.
Love my new necklace. What the photo doesn't show is the tiny albatross at the end of the chain which falls down your back, the length depends on how short you put the necklace on as there are several lengths to choose when you put it on.
